November New
Through every change, He faithful will remain.
What’s new for you in November?
For me, I’m choosing:
To submit an article to a magazine I’ve never been published in. Yes, there is the risk of rejection but also the possiblity of acceptance. I won’t know unless I try.
After praying and seeking God for months concerning a new church to attend, I chose to attend a liturgical community of believers. God and His people met me there with open arms. I feel I may have found a new home.
I always turn a year older in November. With age comes the realization that my body is changing…more aches, wrinkles, chin hairs, a few more pounds, hearing loss, etc. But with courage, I’m choosing to call myself “beloved” every time I look into a mirror.
Today is November 6th, and I’ll have more opportunities to choose change this month. Something I won’t change however, is my gratitude for a merciful Father who loves and adores His daughters.
If you’re struggling with a November New, I suggest you choose one of the above:
You may not write articles but you can send a card or write a sweet note when you deliver a homemade Thanksgiving pie.
If you’re not looking for a new church, sincerely welcome a newcomer with open arms.
This may be the hardest choice of all. Worldly mirrors scream harsh, negative voices back to us. But with God’s strength, we can courageously speak the truth, “We are His beloved.”
With grace,
Tammy
If you have chosen something new for November, please share. I’d love to hear from you!
Alyssa won the drawing from my basket for subscribing in October. Congratulations!
