The Light has Come
Immanual, God with us.
Dear Friends,
This Christmas I’m doing things differently.
Why?
Hand surgery.
Years past, I would bake, bake, bake.
This year…
I need help.
You may too.
You may feel faint like a silk thread weaving it’s way through heartbreak:
an empty chair at the table
broken relationships
loneliness
unexpected medical diagnosis
financial strain
traumatic memories
In the dark night of our souls, a light shines.
Immanual, God with us.
Joy in midst of our sorrow.
Hope in midst of our despair.
Jesus.
“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).
Please know, God is weaving a beautiful tapestry from your life.
Merry Christmas,
Tammy
How is Jesus shining in your life this Christmas?

Beautiful! And, I think the hand surgery is coming for me, as well. We’ll have to compare notes! 😉
Thank you for this beautiful post that brings comfort to my frenzied heart. Blessings to you.
